St Kilda Mums Fundraising with Art
Melbourne charity St Kilda Mums partnered with local artist Madeleine Stamer to create a beautiful stand-out custom printed tea towel design that has been extremely popular in helping generate much needed funds.
Proceeds from the sale of merchandise help the charity with achieve their mission "to share in the joy of motherhood, in partnership with support agencies, by recycling baby essentials". Meaning that with enough funds raised a newborn baby will sleep securely in a safe cot, a mum can use a pram to take her baby to the Maternal Health nurse or a toddler can have enough clothes and shoes to last them through the season.
The tea towels proved so popular that when St Kilda Mums was reordering they also printed versions for Geelong Mums and Eureka Mums - reaching even more families in need across the state.
