'In it for the Long Haul' Wedding Invites

It was important to Kate & Lucas that the details of their big day reflected their personalities by including quirky features typical of them. They also wanted invitations that would be a useful keepsake. After sending out coasters for the save-the-dates, a custom printed organic cotton tea towel was the perfect choice for the actual invitations!

The idea behind the creative design came from Lucas' work life revolving around trucks and earthmoving equipment. Kate explains "he literally lives and breathes trucks, our wedding would not have been complete without incorporating them somehow!" Additionally with Lucas often away for work, their dog Boss is Kate's other main companion so it was equally important that he be included in the design.

To present them to guests they folded a pocket in the tea towels to hold the details card and wrapped it with twine and a bottle brush branch to tie in with the Australian flora used in the bouquets and decorations. One of them was also displayed at the reception for guests to sign and now hangs as a feature in their home. "We were very impressed with the print and quality of the tea towels. Expressions was easily contactable from the start and very helpful throughout the design process. I cannot wait for the next event in which we can utilise Expressions!!"
